For over two decades, Sunset has been providing authentic Thai cuisine in the heart of the beautiful Western Highlands. From the idyllic village of Morar, overlooking the famed silver sands, our food finds its way into the hearts of locals and tourists alike. Using a combination of local produce, specially imported ingredients and a lifetime of Thai knowledge, we have strived to provide a truly memorable experience to compliment the unforgettable landscape that surrounds us.

Every meal is prepared individually from scratch and you will therefore need to place your order well in advance to give us time to make sure it is right. We can become very busy, especially during the weekend period and it is always a good idea to give us as much notice of your requirements as you can to avoid disappointment.

Authentic Thai Cuisine

Thai food has its roots in Chinese, Indian and Arabic kitchens, combining basic ingredients, fish sauce, chillies and lemon juice to provide an aromatic flavour sensation not found in other cuisines. Siamese ginger, sweet basil, coriander, lemon grass and a host of other herbs and spices compete for attention in the mouth-watering array of dishes on our menu.

At my mother's side for her special noodle soup, on the market stall with my sister as she prepared her unique Roast Chicken Curry, (still talked about in Sukhumvit 101 to this day) or in the kitchen in Bangna where I spent so many hectic evenings!”
